All Day Surf Camps

We heard ya. More.

Well, more is what you get.

Our all day surf camp is two sessions. Back-to-back. We start at 8-ish and go all the way until noonish. We rest for the 20 to 30 minutes between the 10-10:30 time and then get back to it. You want more after that? We have a rental option if you have energy left so you can fine tune your progression through the rest of the afternoon.

Why do we call a 4 hour block of day an “All-Day” surf camp? Because the rest of the day after the noon hour usually sucks. Hey, we’re honest! Sometimes the evening in the summertimes can glass off and you can get some evening surf time but the middle of the day ’round here is typically windy. More than 8 knots of wind sucks to surf in so we usually nap until it gets good again. So that IS our “All-Day”. It’s all of the day you CAN surf. And trust me…you’re tired when you’re done. We’ll tell you that in advance. 

This is our extended surf lesson where you get a longer surf session than your traditional 90 minute surf session.We see parents do this as a daily surf camp they don’t have to commit all week to. Maybe 2 days is all you’ve got?  This IS a surf session though. We don’t do sandcastles. We don’t do hula hoop. We surf. So if that’s what you and your kids are into is surfing, that’s us. Sandcastle building is some other thing, not us. We surf and then we surf more. 

This is a great choice whether you are learning to surf for the first time or looking to improve your skills…we start at YOUR beginning at the comfort level you choose! All ages 7 and up are welcome. All of our amazing Surf Instructors have current CPR/First Aid Certification and fingerprint screening through the Police Department. Some of their qualifications include Life Guard Certification and Instruction, Professional Surfing Competition, International Professional River Guide, Pilots, Eagle Scouts BSA, Swim instruction & Ski/Snowboard Patrol at local China Peak Ski Resort. We have the areas very best teaching yours. You deserve it.

If you don’t get 1 of these 3 things (most of the time it’s a surf leash that everyone forgets about) Then you have been SWINDLED and RIPPED OFF. CALL US if a nearby company has taken FROM your experience and we will  give you a FREE surf lesson because making you chase your boards is damn ruthless and you were told some BS to make you believe that you didn’t need a leash. Trust me, it’s a trick to keep you from getting any better than ankle deep water. COMPLETE FRAUD. Surf instruction companies should be better than that. So we at Sandbar will pick up the slack.
