In the surf astrology calendar, 2025 is the Year of YOU. This year we are promoting the specialness of YOU and YOUR group. Our Private Group Surf Lesson option is a really great way to learn, at YOUR pace, around only YOUR people. One instructor, your group and no outsiders to watch you fall. We heard you and we get it. With the Semi-Private Surf Lesson Jonny and his #stewardsofstoke are here for your safety and to provide you with everything you’ll need to experience surfing, the ocean, and the beauty of Pismo Beach the right way. The way real surfers do it. It’s okay! It’s your first time. Let us help you. 

Jonny is also not just a voice that you hear on the phone taking your money that you’ll never see….He is there at EVERY LESSON making sure that your experience is nothing short of fantastic. He’ll even be surfing alongside cheering you on, throwing in tid-bits of info, or in general stoking you and your crew out.

Our Private Group Surf Lessons, $60 Open Group Surf Lessons, and “Learn to Surf” group all – day surf camps are all geared for ages 7 and up, perfect if this is your first time in the water, putting on a wetsuit, or even touching a surfboard. We go through all of this with you, using language that YOU understand and helping you learn the stuff you don’t! – Wetsuits, safety Surf Leashes, Soft-top Surfboards, and the Ocean are provided!

We do not accept payment at the beach. Payments can be made online or in person at our office. We also have multiple ways to avoid our software fees in the techy world we live in, so just call us at 805-835-SURF (7873)  Travel safely to us and let’s get shredding!!!

1. Surfboard (That fits you properly! Not just the 8 footer from Costco will do! Different size people require sometimes bigger boards….like ALL adults! )

2. Safety Surf Leash

3. Wetsuit.

If you don’t get 1 of these 3 things (most of the time it’s a surf leash that everyone forgets about) Then you have been SWINDLED and RIPPED OFF. CALL US if a nearby company has taken FROM your experience and we will  give you a FREE surf lesson because making you chase your boards is damn ruthless and you were told some BS to make you believe that you didn’t need a leash or a proper size board that you don’t have to fight to get up on. Trust me, it’s a trick to keep you from getting any better than ankle deep water. COMPLETE FRAUD. Adults require 9 foot boards more than sometimes. We wish this were a one size works for all type of sport but sadly, it’s not. Trust us. We’ve been doing this for like a hundred years.
