1. Surfboard (proper for your size that floats)
2. Safety Surf Leash
3. Wetsuit.
If you don’t get 1 of these 3 things (most of the time it’s a SURF LEASH that everyone forgets about) Then you have been SWINDLED and RIPPED OFF. Trust us, it’s a trick to keep you from getting any better than ankle deep water. YOU HAVE TO CHASE YOUR BOARD AFTER EVERY FALL IF YOU DON’T HAVE A SURF LEASH.
You must have 3 OF 3 of THESE THINGS OR IT IS COMPLETE FRAUD. Surf instruction companies that KEEP your safety leash from you TAKE from your safety and KNOW you only have limited energy in your rookie shoulders…. and you spend chasing your board instead of paddling into waves. Very similiar to that Jacob’s Ladder climbing thing at the county fair. It’s a trick to keep everyone going the same direction and not catching waves. That is RUTHLESS to do to someone and we see it next to our surf lessons EVERY DAY.

Surf Gear Rental
Choosing the proper equipment at the beginning of a great surf outing and the improper equipment can ruin a surf day. We at Sandbar Surf make sure that you have the proper stuff made by surfers like premium wetsuits not the Amazon ones to make sure that your outing with us is nothing short of spectacular.
